The Annual General Meeting and the Executive Council Election 2009 of the Bangladesh Association of Librarians, Information Scientists and Documentalists (BALID), which was scheduled to be held on 23 January 2009, have been postponed in the BALID Executive Committee meeting on 18 January 2009. The new date of Annual General Meeting and Election will be announced as soon as possible. The Executive Committee apologies to all honorable members of BALID for this un-expectable decision.
