Training on Plagiarism and Reference Management Software Zotero held at NSU Library - 19 December 2015

A day long Training on Plagiarism and Reference Management Software Zotero was held at E-resources Access Centre, North South University (NSU) Library, Bashundhara, Dhaka.  on Saturday, December 19, 2015.
 
North South University in collaboration with Bangladesh Association of Librarians, Information Scientists and Documentalists (BALID) was organized this training. Total 40 teachers, researchers and librarians of various government, autonomous and private institutions in the country were participated in this training program.
 
Dr. Md. Mostafizur Rahman, University Librarian of North South University taught plagiarism checking software Turnitin and Minhajuddin Ahmed discussed on plagiarism while Md. Mukhlesur Rahman of Independence University, A K M Nurul Alam, Assistant Director of Bangladesh Bank and Kazi Farhad Noman of Southeast University taught Zotero and Mendely reference software. 
 
The certificate award ceremony of the training was held at Faculty Lounge of NSU at  6:00pm where Dr. Gour Gobinda Goswami Vice Chancellor (In-charge), NSU was the Chief Guest and Dr. Vasanthi Rajendran, Director, CIRDAP was the Special Guest. Dr. Arshad M Chowdhury, Chairman, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering was the Guest of Honor. Dr. Mirza Mohd. Rezaul Islam, Chairman, BALID was the chair of the certificate award ceremony.
